Preparation of maintenance free lead-acid battery electrolyte
Check the residual acid in the acid tank. If it is less than 1/4 of the acid tank, pure water that meets the technical requirements should be injected into the acid mixing tank to reach 2/3 of the liquid level. Then, according to the amount of pure water added, concentrated sulfuric acid that meets the technical requirements should be added in a ratio of about 4:1. When adding concentrated sulfuric acid, first place the plastic mixer into the acid tank for stirring, and then slowly pour the concentrated sulfuric acid into the acid tank to prevent sulfuric acid splashing;
When preparing acid, attention should be paid to the temperature of the acid tank. When the temperature inside the acid tank exceeds 60 ℃, immediately stop adding sulfuric acid and switch to adding pure water or stirring for cooling. When the temperature of the acid solution drops below 45 ℃, then add pure water or sulfuric acid according to the required acid density for readjustment;
Preparation of electrolyte for batteries: When the temperature of the electrolyte in the acid tank drops to room temperature, a specific gravity meter and thermometer are placed to measure its actual value. When the actual temperature and electrolyte specific gravity meet the requirements, the weight of dilute sulfuric acid is taken,
If the electrolyte is not prepared at room temperature, it can be corrected according to the following formula: d25=dt+0.00075 × (t-25) (g/cm3): where d25 represents the density converted to standard temperature (25 ℃); Dt is the measured density; T is the temperature of the electrolyte when measuring the specific gravity.
